Welcome to Wool n Yarn!
Creating handmade items using my knitting and crochet skills has been a very long term hobby for me – about 40 years or so! I have worked in laboratory research and the scientific industry for most of my life and my hobby has kept my imagination alive and given me many hours of relaxation and enjoyment, not to mention to preserving my sanity (this may still be debatable…) in an otherwise hectic world.
I have now decided to use all of my skills to create an online store which will aim to feed your imagination with high quality yarns, tools and accessories. In sourcing the products which you will see on these pages, I will endeavour to find yarns which, like diamonds, possess truly great characteristics that we all love to see and feel – yarns with great stitch definition, a spectrum of colours, a range of weights and compositions and, above all, high quality, while keeping the price of these yarns and accessories as economical as possible.
